Cosmetic gloves are available for all hand types; passive, mechanical and electric. When ordering a prosthetic hand, request the mating glove. Gloves are available in PVC and in some cases silicone. Silicone is preferred for its stain-resistance, although PVC may be a better choice when the glove is exposed to harsh conditions causing abrasion or tearing. Some gloves are available in male, female or gender-neutral styles. Additionally, gloves are available in many skin tones. Therefore, you will need to select the best color match by comparing the client's skin tone to color swatches from the manufacturer.
Elegance Gloves are also available for Otto Bock mechanical and electric hands as well as Hosmet-Soft hands. These are offered in PVC and silicone.
